These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern access to and use of the
ColorDetect Pro mobile application, backend services, scan analysis features,
and physical test kit ordering features (together, the "Service").

1. Acceptance of the Terms
By using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use
the Service.

2. Eligibility
The Service is intended for adults only (18+). It is not directed to children
or minors.
3. Medical Disclaimer
ColorDetect Pro is intended for research, screening, educational, and
informational support only.
The Service is not a medical device, does not provide a medical
diagnosis, does not replace certified laboratory testing, and does not
replace a doctor or qualified healthcare professional.
Do not use the Service for emergency decisions. If you believe you or someone
else may need urgent medical care, contact emergency services or a qualified
healthcare professional immediately.
4. User Responsibilities
You are responsible for:
- using the Service only for lawful purposes;
- providing accurate account, order, and sample information;
- following test kit instructions and safety guidance;
- obtaining any required consent before uploading sample images;
- keeping your device and account access secure;
- not uploading unlawful, harmful, or misleading content.
5. Account and Authentication
The Service may use Google Sign-In or another authentication method. You are
responsible for maintaining control of the Google account or credentials used
to access the Service.
We may suspend or restrict access where necessary to protect the Service,
prevent abuse, comply with law, or investigate misuse.
6. Image Uploads and AI Analysis
When you explicitly request analysis, the Service may upload sample images and
related metadata to the backend for processing.
The backend may use configured AI providers, such as Gemini or OpenAI, to
assist with analysis. AI results may be incomplete, inaccurate, or unsuitable
for medical decision-making.
You must not rely on AI output as a final diagnosis or replacement for
professional testing or clinical judgment.
7. Physical Test Kits
The Service may allow purchase of physical test kits. Product descriptions,
availability, prices, and delivery information may change.
Payments for physical kits may be processed by Stripe. We do not store raw card
details in the mobile application.

8. No Misuse
You must not:
- reverse engineer, copy, resell, or misuse the Service;
- interfere with backend systems, APIs, or security controls;
- attempt unauthorized access to accounts, scan data, or payment systems;
- upload malware, illegal content, or content that infringes third-party
rights;
- use the Service in a way that violates applicable law.
9. Intellectual Property
The Service, including software, design, brand elements, and content, is owned
or licensed by ELPIDA RESEARCH INC SRL or its licensors. These Terms do not
transfer ownership of any intellectual property rights to you.
10. Data Protection
Data processing is described in our Privacy Policy. The Service includes data
export and account deletion features where available and required by law.
11. Availability and Changes
We may update, suspend, or discontinue parts of the Service for maintenance,
security, compliance, or product reasons.
We may update these Terms when the Service, business model, or legal
requirements change. Material updates will be reflected by updating the "Last
updated" date and, where appropriate, by additional notice.
12. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the Service is provided
"as is" and "as available." We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability,
error-free operation, or medically definitive results.
Nothing in these Terms limits liability where limitation is not permitted by
law.
13. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Romania, unless mandatory consumer
protection laws provide otherwise.
